Sing. Connect. Inspire.

For more than 45 years, the Novato Music Association Chorus has inspired people of all musical abilities and backgrounds to sing a variety of uplifting choral works — presented at bi-annual shows for the holidays and in celebration of Spring.

About NMA

It often begins with a simple moment—someone humming along to a favorite song, remembering what it feels like to sing. At the Novato Music Association Chorus, those moments grow into something more: a room filled with voices, laughter, and a shared sense of belonging.

We are a community chorus of nearly 50 singers, each bringing their own story, background, and reason for being here. Some have sung for years; others are rediscovering their voice after a long time away. What connects us is the joy of making music together—and the friendships that form along the way.

Our music doesn’t stay within rehearsal walls. We bring it into the community, performing for local audiences, sharing songs with seniors in care facilities, and participating in events that bring people together. For us, music is not just something we perform—it’s something we give.

A middle-aged man with short, dark hair and light skin is speaking into a microphone at a formal event. He is wearing a white shirt and a black vest, and appears to be in a room with ornate wood paneling and warm lighting.
Five women standing on a stage, dressed in colorful Hawaiian-style dresses and leis, performing in what appears to be a musical or choir group. They are smiling and gesturing with their arms.
A man dressed in formal attire, including a vest and bow tie, stands inside a wooden church or chapel, smiling or laughing, with pews and wooden paneling visible in the background.
